What Grant Cardone taught me about the true value of the dinner table.

What @grantcardone taught me about the true value of the dinner table.

I’ve been deep in business growth mode through Cardone University, and a single line from @grantcardone recently shifted my entire perspective:

“If you’re not making money while you eat — you’re wasting time.”

At first, it hit like a punch. But the more I sat with it, the more it made sense — especially in the restaurant world.

For years, I’ve watched people obsess over saving money when dining out.
Choosing the cheapest wine. Picking the least expensive dishes. Avoiding quality restaurants in the name of saving a buck.
I used to think that was being smart with money. But in reality?

That’s not going to help you
And it wont create the outcomes you want.

Sonora Is Built for High-Level Living

At Sonora Potts Point, we’re not just serving tacos and mezcal.
We’re building a space for people who are playing at a higher level — people who invest in quality, relationships, and in the kind of environment that reflects where they’re going.

This isn’t about flash or ego. It’s about energy.
The people you sit with, the atmosphere you’re in — it all influences your thinking.

We welcome serious wine collectors and thoughtful drinkers who bring something special to the table.
We’re fully licensed, but if you’ve got a cellar that tells a story, bring it. We’ll meet that level with our food and service.

Where You Eat Reflects How You Think

The room you’re in matters and the people going to that room matter. Networking is important.

You don’t close big deals or level up your mindset at budget chain restaurants.
You do it in spaces where the standard is higher — where the ingredients, the attention to detail, and the overall vibe invite you to think bigger.

At Sonora, our food is grown with intention in our garden, sourced from incredible local producers, and plated with care — not just to impress, but to connect.

We host real conversations here — between founders, creatives, investors, and friends who are moving forward in life.

I’m Still Marketing Every Day — Just with More Precision

Make no mistake: I’m still marketing every single day. Excessively, even.
But now, that effort is focused on reaching the right people — the ones who want to experience something richer, deeper, and more intentional.

If that’s you, we want you here.

If you’re growing, building, investing — pull up a chair.
Let’s talk over fire-cooked seafood, freshly pressed masa, and a bottle that’s worthy of the moment.

Thank you @grantcardone and Cardone University for the clarity and the push.

Let’s eat — and think — at the next level.
