Do You Have a Kids’ Menu?” (Nobody Ever Asks Us — But Here’s the Answer Anyway)
We’ve been open for years, and not once — not once — has anyone asked us if we have a kids’ menu.
So why are we writing this?
Because every now and then, someone walks in with a pram, looks around nervously… and clearly wonders if their little one is welcome.
So here’s the truth: Yes, bring the kids. We’ve got you.
Last weekend, a couple rolled in just after the lunch rush — baby in a pram, toddler in tow. You could tell they weren’t sure what to expect. This wasn’t a plastic-menu, juice-box kind of joint. But within minutes, the little one was scooping guacamole with corn chips while the baby chilled in the high chair (yes, we have one).
We pulled a couple tacos off the Fiesta menu — nothing too spicy — and set aside some grilled chicken and soft tortillas. By the time the churros hit the table, it was all smiles. No fuss, no kids’ menu, no problem.
Sonora doesn’t do traditional. Not with our food, not with our guests. That includes kids.
We don’t need a printed list of “kid-approved” options — because we’re happy to adjust, swap, simplify, or surprise.
Want mild tacos? You got it.
Need space for a pram? We’ll make room.
Looking for a treat to keep them smiling? You might get lucky with some churros.
So no — we don’t have a kids’ menu.
But we do have heart. And space. And snacks.
Bring the little ones. We’ll take care of them — just like we take care of you.
