Gluten-Free Dining at Sonora Potts Point: Why Corn Is King

At Sonora Potts Point, our menu is rooted in traditional Mexican values—where corn isn’t just a staple, it’s the soul of the cuisine. That means if you’re gluten-free, you’re already in the right place.

Why Most of Our Menu Is Naturally Gluten-Free

In Mexican cooking, corn masa forms the base of everything from tortillas and tamales to antojitos. Unlike many Western kitchens that rely heavily on wheat, traditional Mexican food leans into corn, making it a natural win for those avoiding gluten.

At Sonora, we make our own corn tortillas from scratch, source masa with integrity, and build the majority of our dishes around this ancient, gluten-free grain. So whether you’re gluten-sensitive or coeliac, you’ll find plenty to enjoy.

Just Let Us Know

While many of our dishes are gluten-free by design, we always recommend letting your server know about any dietary requirements when you arrive. Our team is well-trained and happy to point out the best options—or modify dishes where possible to suit your needs.
